Guy Portelli
RBA, ARBS

Guy Portelli ArtBorn in 1957, Guy’s work additionally draws upon the excitement and passion of Latin culture – expressing a bold and seductive mixture of symbolic and primal influences. Two well known examples of Guy’s work include “Go for It” and “Puzzle” which typify his unique style. The use of sensual and exuberant coloured glass or mosaic into the bronzes further enhances the imagery.

Elected as a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1998 and voted on to the council in 2000, Guy has exhibited his abstract sculptures in galleries and sculpture parks. He has an impressive track record in the field of contemporary sculpture with many of his commissions being held in public, corporate and private collections.

Guy is also authour of ‘Modern British Sculpture’ a comprehensive study of modern sculpture developments in Great Britain.
